What We Did
User research, information architecture, design, usability testing, front-end development
To revamp the existing Immigration and Checkpoints Authority website with an improved look and feel, more features that fulfill user needs, and a more intuitive information architecture.
We conducted an initial usability test on the existing website to uncover pain points to be remedied, as well as focus groups with different user personas to discover their needs for the new website. We also conceptualised several possible information architectures and tested them with users and stakeholders, selecting the one that best facilitated information finding. Next, we designed several different concepts for the website. The selected design (based on stakeholder feedback) was then developed into a prototype, which was then tested with users before release.
